“Nick Sage of SMARTBOX Portable Storage, performed a miracle for me and one of my clients at the very end of June, when all movers were having their busiest week. My client had arranged for U-Haul to deliver storage boxes to her house the day before settlement, but U-Haul not only failed to deliver the boxes, but told her in a cavalier manner that there would be no boxes available, tough luck. She begged, they promised to bring some later in the day, then they failed to perform again. We had a house full of stuff, an unmovable settlement date, etc. You get the picture.
I called Nick, asking if there was any way he could help. He couldn’t deliver boxes in time, explaining that it was, indeed, the busiest week of the year, but he would see what he could do. To make a long story short, he sent a truck early the next day (settlement set for 5pm) with a crew of workers, and they loaded the entire house into the truck to take it back to the warehouse, where they were able to load the household goods into four boxes. All this without a contract (seller is signing the contract today) and arranged at the last moment.
There are no words to express the relief felt by my seller, her buyer, and both agents. Please tell everyone how wonderful this company is, and how accommodating and special Nick’s service is. We had a smooth settlement, and everyone is happy.”
