How Our Secure Storage Works

We want to help you make storage easier. That’s why we’ll bring out secure storage containers to you so that all you have to worry about is filling them up—say goodbye to traditional storage companies that make you drive out to their remote location, only to unpack and repack everything into your storage unit! Once you’re done packing up your portable storage container, you can either keep it safely on site by adding a combination or padlock to the door or you can have us come and pick up your containers and take them to our secure, temperature-controlled storage facility.

Containers that accommodate combination or padlocks. If you need to keep your belongings on-site, you can rest assured that they are safe in our sturdy portable storage containers. Each box is equipped with two butterfly clasps and a sliding hasp lock that can accommodate a padlock or combination lock for added safety.
Temperature-controlled storage facility that is indoors. When you choose to store your belongings with SMARTBOX, your boxes will be kept in our safe, temperature-controlled building. That means there’s going to be more than a flimsy garage door separating your things from intruders, animals, or insects.

In addition to providing secure storage, each container is:

Perfectly sized – each storage container is 8 feet deep by 7 feet tall by 5 feet wide and can hold up to 3,500 pounds. They can hold approximately one and a half rooms of furniture and belongings, including larger items like refrigerators and king size mattresses.
Durable – our secure storage containers are made of a sturdy and durable wood that allows the contents to breathe, and they are protected from rain, snow, wind, and more by an all-seasons weather-resistant cover.
Easy to use – each container sits only 6 inches off the ground, making entering and exiting the boxes incredibly safe. This is particularly important when you’re carrying heavier items!
